A true hike in the remote and most beautiful places in the south of National Park Los Glaciares, close to the border with Chile. Ideal for those active people, eager to walk through little-explored places and share the place only with those who are part of the group.

The excursion begins picking passengers up at the hotels, in case they have booked the transfer with Gigantes Patagones. We will begin our journey along Route 15, the old route of the estancias, towards the Roca Lake sector, within National Park Los Glaciares. After 60 km along an amazing road, we will arrive at the Los Pioneros boarding station.

Once on board, in a semi-rigid boat, we will sail along the southern arm of Lake Argentino until we reach the southernmost sector where we will disembark and begin our first 1-hour, 1.5-km walk. Once we reach Lake Frías, we will cross it with the semi-rigid Fitzcarraldo, a navigation that will take about 10 minutes.

Upon disembarking on the opposite bank, the second 7 km walk will begin. We will walk through a forest with centuries-old lengas and an ancient glacial valley to finally arrive at Laguna Frías Superior, which is covered with icebergs and from where we will see the Dicksom, Cubo and Grande glaciers. After lunch, after having lived an incredible adventure, we will begin the return trip.

The excursion may be cancelled due to strong winds.

Frequency: daily. Operates from October to April.

Duration: 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

What to bring?: sunglasses, sunscreen, comfortable and warm clothing, waterproof jacket, gloves, hiking boots.

Included: lunch.

Restrictions: only suitable for people between 12 and 65 years old. Medical form required

Cancellation policy: cancellation of the service is allowed without charges up to 72 hours before the date of the activity. Cases of force majeure duly documented (modification or cancellation of flights) or certified medical reasons.

No show: in case of not taking the service on the date, time and place agreed, 100% of the cost of the excursion will be charged as cancellation fees.
