Early in the morning and without any rush, we will leave El Calafate along Route 15: the historic route of ranches.

Along the way, we will cross the fields of one of the most emblematic ranches in Patagonia: Estancia Anita.

We will continue advancing in the steppe to Río Mitre Inn: an authentic Patagonian Inn with impressive views of the South Arm Valley and the mountain range.

We continue our walk to the entrance of the National Park.

A few kilometers before reaching Perito Moreno Glacier, we will begin a walk of about 45 minutes along an “off the beaten track” path that crosses an enchanted and quiet forest until we reach a solitary beach with views of the southern wall of the glacier. It is there where, perhaps, we will be fortunate enough to see woodpeckers and astral parrots, among others.

We will walk to the Bajo La Sombra Port where, those who wish, can add the 1-hour Safari Naútico navigation and then continue towards the walkways.

Once on the walkways, we have approximately 3 hours to walk, enjoy and discover the sounds and the colors of the glacier, and wait for a break.

Around 3:00 p.m., we begin the return along Route 11: the conventional paved route.

Frequency: daily. It is active from October to March.

Duration: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What to bring?: sunglasses, sunscreen, comfortable and warm clothing, waterproof jacket, gloves and comfortable shoes.

Not included: entrance to the National Park, lunch and navigation

Cancellation policy: Cancellation of the service is allowed without charge up to 72 hours before the date of the activity. Duly documented cases of force majeure (modification or cancellation of air flights) or certified medical reasons.

No show: in case of not taking the service on the agreed date, time and place, 100% of the cost of the excursion will be charged as cancellation fees.
