Discover the way of life of a Patagonian historical estancia.
County life in Roca Lake
Depart from El Calafate. The tour goes through the old route of estancias, there you will be able to see the old farmhouse of Anita historical Estancia. After 60 km, arrival at Nibepo Aike Estancia, located on the shore of Roca Lake. You will be welcome with a hot drink (tea, coffee or mate) served with homemade pastry. Later, you will be able to take a walk bordering the lake and explore the surrounding area.
There is also possible to go horseback riding in the Andean-Patagonian Forest to different viewpoints.
You will be able to see sheepshearing by the old scissors method, and visit the organic garden. Finally, we will share a typical “asado” of Patagonian lamb on a spit.
Included: Transfers + lunch with a non-alcoholic drink, or a glass of wine during meals.
Frequency: Every day from September to April 30th.
Duration: 8.30 am to 4 pm.
