Gigantes Patagones

Viedma Adventure

The new way to discover an ice giant

A unique way to get to know the Viedma Glacier

The excursion begins at Puerto Bahía Túnel, a few kilometers from El Chaltén. Aboard a modern catamaran, you’ll sail through breathtaking landscapes: the silhouette of the Huemul Massif, mountains reflected in the water, and the first icebergs that herald the encounter with the glacier.

After about 40 minutes of sailing, we disembark at Cabo de Hornos Bay for an easy hike to a natural viewpoint. From there, you’ll enjoy a unique panoramic view of the Bay of Icebergs, surrounded by calmly floating blocks of ice.

The highlight comes as you approach the front of the Viedma Glacier. The ice wall rises majestically, displaying hues ranging from the purest white to the deepest blues. An unforgettable picture that captures the essence of adventure in southern Patagonia.

Lasting approximately 3 hours, this trip combines sailing, gentle hiking, and contemplation, ideal for both active travelers and those looking for an accessible experience surrounded by nature.
