Calafate Night Tour

Discover the sky with this adventure. Accompanied by telescopes and an expert astronomer, we’ll observe thousands of stars, the Milky Way, satellites, mythology, and much more.

We’ll depart from El Calafate for the Cruz Aike ranch, located 50 km away. During the tour, you’ll have incredible views of Lake Argentino and the Santa Cruz River, with the Andes Mountains in the background. Once at the ranch, we’ll have free time to walk around the area and its facilities while we wait for dinner.

After dinner, there will be a short 15-minute film screening to introduce you to astronomy and preview what we might see.

After this, we’ll head out to enjoy one of the best skies in the world with our telescopes and an expert guide. He will guide you on how to observe the sky, use the telescope, learn about the Milky Way, nebulae, stars, constellations, and mythology.

At the end of the observation, we’ll take a family photo for you to take home as a souvenir, and we’ll also have fun doing some light painting.
