The Cagliero Post provides accommodation services, hostel type. It has 6 quadruple rooms with bathroom and can be booked privately.

Overlooking the Diablo Lagoon and the Cagliero Glacier, the refuge is located within the Estancia los Huemules nature reserve, north of the Glaciares National Park.

From the ranch you walk 2.5 hours through the Diablo River valley, traveling 7 km from the visitor center.

The common spaces, on the ground floor, have a view of the valley floor and the main attraction, the Cagliero glacier.

With experience and a mountain guide you can do demanding activities: climbing hills, hiking on glaciers or the Cagliero Glacier Ice Trek excursion, which includes via ferrata.

At the Cagliero Post we seek to provide a service with nutritious and tasty meals, made in a homemade way.

• Includes: The rate includes entrance to the reserve, non-guided activities on its trails, a room with a private bathroom and meals. The rooms are equipped with sheet, pillow, duvet, blanket and towel. Meal service includes breakfast, snacks or lunch and dinner.
  Does not include wine, beer and salty or sweet consumption outside of meal times.

Optional with additional cost

1. Neumeyer Glacier: Trekking, climbing, ice walking and rappelling. 9 km with 1500 m. of unevenness. 9/10 a.m. Includes crampons, ropes, harness and helmet, sports route, guide and assistant. Views of the Neumeyer, 30th Anniversary, Loma del Diablo and Fitz Roy hills. Minimum 4 people. The guide meets with the group the night before and verifies the aptitude of the members and defines who can do it. If this is the case, 50% of the value will be refunded.
2. Loma del Diablo Summit: 11 km and 2,000 m trek. of unevenness. Duration: 9/10 hours. Views of the Fitz Roy, Torre, Marconi, Pollone, 30° Anniversary, Neumeyer, Cordón del Bosque, Diablo River valley, Cóndor lagoon, Desierto lake and Viedma stand out. Minimun 2 persons.
3. Hidden Lagoons: 7 km hike with 1200 m. of unevenness to ascend the lagoons hidden by the Loma del Diablo hill. Duration: 6/7 hours. Minimun 2 persons.
4. Hiking: You can walk the 25 km of self-guided trails at Estancia los Huemules with a guide to interpret the flora and fauna of the environment. Duration: 4 to 9 hours. Minimun 2 persons
