Leaving El Chaltén, after 37 km bordering the Las Vueltas River we arrive at the desert lake, a charming place that surprises us with its colors. An emerald green or turquoise lake, depending on the day, surrounded by lenga and ñire forests. From there you can take short walks.

What to bring? Sunglasses, sunscreen, comfortable and warm clothing, waterproof jacket, gloves and comfortable shoes.

OPTIONAL DESERT LAKE NAVIGATION

Boarding in Puerto Punta Sur, where navigation begins, where you can see the hanging glaciers and the imposing mountains that surround the lake. Once the boat arrives at Punta Norte, passengers have the option of taking a short self-guided walk to Mirador Centinela.
