GLACIARES GOURMET

Gourmet Glaciers is a full-day experience aboard the María Turquesa cruise that will visit the Upsala, Spegazzini and Perito Moreno glaciers. The highest comfort and specially designed gourmet cuisine will make the navigation a memorable experience.

What sets this excursion apart from other similar navigations is that it allows you to visit the 3 main glaciers of the National Park. In addition, if a special transfer is requested, there is the possibility of disembarking at the Perito Moreno glacier and visiting the walkway sector.

If you book the transfer with Gigantes Patagones, this excursion will start in El Calafate heading towards the port of Punta La Soledad, located 50 km away.

We will begin the navigation towards the iceberg barrier of the Uspala channel, and then head to the Spegazzini glacier. On the way we will disembark at Puesto Las Vacas, where we will take a 30-minute walk in the Patagonian Andean forest and its beaches.

Upon returning to the boat, we will have enough time to have lunch (you can bring your own food or choose the “with lunch” option) while we continue our ride until we reach the front of the highest glacier in the national park: the Spegazzini glacier (135 meters above the lake level). Here we will take advantage of the time to take pictures and contemplate in silence so much natural beauty.

At this point we head to our final destination: the Perito Moreno Glacier, where you can (with prior service contract) disembark on the walkways to end a day full of magic and surprises, and enjoy 1.30 hours to explore them freely.

To conclude our day, after leaving the Perito Moreno Glacier and those who descended there behind, we will begin our return to the private La Soledad Port and then to El Calafate with those who contracted the transfer with Gigantes Patagones.

For those who wish to take the excursion in a more exclusive way, we offer a Premium Lounge. It has capacity for 14 people and a preferential location on board. Includes a 5-course gourmet menu and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks during lunch. Non-alcoholic drinks and infusions throughout the cruise.

Frequency: daily. Operates from September to April. From May to August only on even days.

Duration: 07:15 to 18:00 hrs.

Included: lunch only if the option that includes it or Premium lounge was contracted.

Not included: entrance to National Park Los Glaciares. Transfer upon request.

What to bring?: sunglasses, sunscreen, comfortable and warm clothing, sun hat, waterproof jacket, gloves and comfortable shoes.

Cancellation policy: cancellation of the service is allowed without charge up to 24 hours before the date of the activity. Cases of force majeure duly documented (modification or cancellation of flights) or certified medical reasons.

No show: in case of not taking the service on the date, time and place agreed upon, 100% of the cost of the excursion will be charged as cancellation fees.
