Full day torres del paine

Know the South of Chile’s wonders

Chilean Paradise

This trip consists of visiting the National Park Torres del Paine (Chile) from the town of El Calafate, through a vehicle circuit, which is circular, therefore, we never pass through the same place. It includes viewpoints that offer impressive views of the Toro Lake and the glaciers. Extra free time to walk at the Mirador de los Cuernos and the Salto Grande, a powerful glacial waterfall.

We will leave from El Calafate towards Cancha Carrera border crossing. Here we will make the first stop to carry out the immigration procedures in Argentina and in the Republic of Chile.

We will continue our trip to the National Park Torres Del Paine through a road of estancias with views of the Castillo hill along El Bote bay. In approximately 45 minutes in our vehicle and on the shores of the largest lake in the region, we will arrive at the Grey viewpoint, the first of the many postcards that this adventure gives us. From this viewpoint we can see Lake Toro and the Paine massif with several of its main peaks in the background. After taking photos and enjoying the surroundings, we will continue our journey and enter the National Park through the Rio Serrano Gate (entrance control, bathing area).

We will continue our journey to the viewpoints within the park, El Pehoe and Salto Grande, and we will walk to reach the Cuernos Viewpoint (1.5 hrs.), which offers us absolute proximity to the Cuernos del Paine, one of the best places to see the horns in a unique way that others cannot. Our route takes us to Lake Nordenskjold and then we will head to the Laguna Amarga gate (bathing area), a path noted for its wealth of animal life, where we can see guanacos, choiques, as well as eagles and falcons. Even if we are lucky, we will see condors and our great star: the puma. After this tour, we will arrive at the border and the excursion will end with the immigration procedures and the return to the town of El Calafate.
